More of dem beans..

I just love the colors. A friend brought over 60 jillion lbs. of beans (well, almost) so we pickled 'em. There were no dill tops to be found anywhere . Believe me , we looked. So dill seeds were used instead. Not ideal, but way better than nothing. After all, you have to have something from dill to be dilly beans, don't you?

I found I could cram about 1lb per quart.

I just love the green and the red together. They are so vibrant. Well, until you cook them to that puke green color... but I didn't get a picture of that.
